XENO_MORPHE (HOX:CODE) IS A VIDEO INSTALLATION THAT USES A COMBINATION OF FILM, SOUND AND SCULPTURE TO COMMENT OF THE HYPERREALIST CGI AND 3D RENDERING IN THE FILM AND ART INDUSTRY. INSPIRE BY FUTURISTIC  SCI-FI AESTHICS, THE 5 MINUTE FILM USES LONG UNCOMFORTABLE SCENS TO TRY TO ENGAGE THE VIEWER IN ALTERNATIVE MEANS OF EDITING COMPARED THE 'POST CINEMATIC AFFECT' THEORY - WHERE NARRATIVES ARE LOST WITHIN INTENSE, FAST-PACED ACTION SCENS THAT ARE CUT TOGETHER FOR QUICK GRATIFICATION. EDWARD DESCRIBES THE VIDEO AS AN ALMOST "ANTI-FILM" THAT GOES AGAINST TRADITIONAL RULES OF CGI AND PRO-PRODUCTION EDITING IN THE FILM INDUSTRY.
